Halfway There Week 3

Alright alright, I know I am a day early but this way my pictures are not super outdated! Well folks, I have officially finished the box. I have spent hours on this thing and I am very proud of it! It is drying in these photos. One more round of glue and it is absolutely done! Now onto the gameboard and typing up the cards. I am not expecting to spend quite as much time on that. I am presenting on Monday but I am hoping to be done with everything by Friday night including the essay.
What do you think of my clamps?
Paper clips are fantastic!

These are the top and bottom of my box getting their
corners done.

Week 2

So far I have spent the majority of my project time actually constructing the project and figuring out which topics I will cover in which order. I am working on summaries for each topic and by Wednesday I should be doing partial run-throughs.

Well, I did not actually get a chance to finish my box when I had planned but I have a good jump start on it. All of the pictures and slants are directly proportional to the actual box of clue at my house. I will finish the bottom half of said box as soon as I get another poster board and some time to sharpie it up. Unfortunately, at my house we do not have very able printers who do what they are told so all of my pictures will be gray-scaled but on the other hand the game is very dark and sort of colorless anyway. Well my version is pretty dark, not the original. The cards will be updated by Monday hopefully, though there are no guarantees.

Sample

Here is a sample for my project. I now it looks odd so I will put up the actual document right now. This is what is being printed. I did some editing before I got to this hence the different section at the bottom. I know it is pretty pixelated but too bad. It looks good enough.

Week 1

I will be doing a book report, including this blog (or portions of it), a written essay, and a oral presentation, on The Silver Chair by C. S. Lewis for Mrs. Mata this month. Throughout the book only two things remain constant, the clues and Jill Pole and Eustace Scrubb, the two main characters, which was giving me an awful amount of grief while I was trying to come up with a theme for my presentation and then, while playing a game with my younger brothers, it came to me. I would make the game Clue into my project.
